Accessibility

Julien Bonnel is committed to making his website accessible in accordance with Article 47 of Law No. 2005-102 of February 11, 2005.

The site was natively designed for accessibility. Automated evaluation tools (such as Google Lighthouse) award it a maximum score of 100/100. However, aware that true accessibility (RGAA) requires human validation beyond simple algorithmic technical perfection, the site is currently declared as partially compliant pending a comprehensive manual audit.

The scores below reflect the technical excellence measurable by standard industry algorithms (Lighthouse). While they guarantee extremely solid foundations (semantics, ARIA tags, native contrasts), they cannot replace human evaluation. No formal audit by an independent third party has yet been conducted. However, particular attention was paid to advanced inclusive features:

• Expert keyboard navigation: The Command Palette (Ctrl+K) allows users to navigate and execute actions without using a mouse.
• Focus Management (Focus Trap): Modals (Search, Menu, AI Assistant) intelligently capture keyboard focus to guide the user and prevent them from getting lost in the background.
• Motion Preferences (Reduced Motion): The site detects your operating system settings and disables animations (particles, gauges) to prevent visual fatigue.
• Aria Tags and Hiding: Use of aria-label attributes on all buttons (Menu, Theme, Language) and aria-hidden on decorative emojis to clarify the screen reader journey.
• HTML5 Semantics and Contrasts: Respected semantic structure (data tables with declared scope headers, true paragraphs instead of line breaks) and validated contrasts for optimal readability, including in Dark Mode.
• Security and Navigation: External links are systematically secured with noopener noreferrer to protect user navigation.

Mobile swipe navigation was designed around the principle of Progressive Enhancement. Touch swipe is merely a convenience shortcut and never replaces fundamental navigation. All physical buttons (Previous, Next, Close) and aria-label tags remain 100% usable via keyboard or screen reader. Furthermore, a strict exclusion policy (ignoreSelector) prevents swipe from triggering unintentionally on interactive elements (carousels, horizontal code blocks, video players), thus avoiding any frustration.

Partial compliance is due to the following reasons:

• Absence of a compliance audit covering all RGAA criteria.
• Some complex interactive components may present difficulties for screen readers.
